  • Publication number: 20180056575
Abstract: A film stretching plant is described, which comprises a furnace (3), which consists of several treatment zones (1, 1a) which each respectively comprise a ventilation unit (2). The film (4) is suppliable to the furnace (3) through a film inlet region (5) and is thermally treatable zone-wise in the treatment zones (1, 1a). The treatment fluid (6) supplied to the film stretching plant flows over the film (4) on its upper surface and its lower surface in the treatment zones (1, 1a). In the film stretching plant according to the invention, the treatment fluid (6) is circulatable in the respective treatment zone (1, a) by its associated respective ventilation unit (2) for the thermal treatment of the film (4), and a portion (6a) of the treatment fluid (6) is conveyed from the respective treatment zone (1) to the process-technically following treatment zone (1a).

  • Publication number: 20160158997
Abstract: Deflecting device (3) for a chain of tenter clips (1) with running rollers (2) for the transport of a moving material web, with a sprocket (4) as well as with a guide rail (5) with at least two tracks (6.1, 6.2) for the running rollers (2) of the tenter clips (1). The two tracks (6.1, 6.2) are respectively arranged on two mutually oppositely facing sides of the guide rail (5) parallel to the rotation axis of the sprocket (4). The guide rail (5) comprises at least one curved section (5.2) for deflecting the chain. In the area of the curved section (5.2) of the guide rail (5), connecting elements (8, 9, 10) are present, by which the guide rail (5) is connected with the deflecting device (3). Several connecting elements (8, 9, 10) are embodied in such a manner so that at least a part of the curved section (5.2) of the guide rail (5) is radially slidable with respect to the sprocket (4).

  • Patent number: 6101739
Abstract: In a method of drying a moist bulk material, such as sewage sludge, and treating the malodorous moisture-laden gas resulting from the drying process, the moisture-laden gas is introduced into waste water contained in a waste water clarifying basin of a waste water treatment plant. A system for carrying out the method includes a drying apparatus and at least one waste water basin of a waste water treatment plant, connected so that the moisture-laden gas emitted from the drying apparatus can be introduced, for example through an aerator, into the waste water. Thereby, the gas is cooled, demoisturized and deodorized, and moisture and volatile components are condensed and/or dissolved out of the gas into the waste water. The waste water is beneficially oxygenated, heated, and enriched with organic substances.

  • Patent number: 5427517
Abstract: Clogging and prolonged down times are avoided in a pelletizer for paste type materials such as sludge by providing an extruder hopper with at least one, preferably two, lower edge slide gates which can be opened to permit movement of a clogged screen zone out of alignment with the discharge opening of the hopper. The clogging material can be scraped off from the screen portion that is taken out of alignment with the hopper discharge opening. The cutting of the extruded sludge is accomplished by an oscillating lower screen section that slides back and forth below the upper screen section. The upper screen section is provided with two, preferably three zones, two of which are perforated and one of which is unperforated to form a closure for the hopper discharge opening. Screeding non-pelletizable material off the screen surface is accomplished either by a separate screeding device or by operating the slide gate or gates as screeds.
