    Abstract: The techniques described herein relate to methods, apparatus, and computer readable media configured to select a computing resource from a plurality of computing resources to perform a computing process. A request is received from a remote computing device to perform the computing process. A first set of estimated metrics is accessed that includes an estimated metric for each computing resource and the first remote computing device. The second data is processed using a machine learning algorithm to select a candidate computing resource to perform the process. The machine learning algorithm selects the candidate computing resource based on a second estimated metric between at least one second remote computing device and an associated computing resource from the plurality of computing resources performing a second computing process for the at least one second remote computing device, and a capacity of each computing resource of the plurality of computing resources.

    Abstract: A data center system is disclosed. The data center includes a housing heat producing compute IT equipment, a photovoltaic thermal hybrid solar collector as a first electrical power source, a bio-gas power generator system as second electrical power source, a bio-oil power generator system as a third electrical power source, and a heat transfer system having a circulating coolant, wherein the heat transfer system captures and transfers taste heat generated by the compute IT equipment and the photovoltaic thermal hybrid solar collector to the circulating coolant, and transfers heat from the heated coolant to at least one of the bio-gas power generator system as a primary electrical power source for the IT equipment and the bio-oil power generator system as a secondary power source for the IT equipment.

    Abstract: An equipment cabinet system for housing heat producing computing equipment. The system includes a rectangular shaped cabinet having an interior space defined between opposing top and bottom walls, opposing inner and outer side walls, and opposing front and rear doors. Disposed within the interior space are racks for supporting the computer equipment. The cabinet inner side wall includes an air inlet and an air outlet for air flow into and out of the cabinet interior space. A blower assembly is mounted on the front door disposed within the cabinet interior space, and an airflow directing baffle is provided on the rear door to deflect air flow horizontally towards the first air outlet. A cooling unit having an air-to-fluid heat exchanger provides cold air flow into the interior space of the cabinet and extracts heated air from the interior space of the cabinet.
