  • Publication number: 20170039823
Abstract: A system and method are provided for providing an integration interface for event messages being sent between nurse call devices and interface devices outside of the nurse call system. The system includes an integration interface server disposed between the nurse call system and the interface devices. The integration interface server includes an integration engine that performs a translation process on event messages received at the integration interface server. The translation process translates the event messages such that they can be understood by either the nurse call system or the interface devices. Further, the translation process is based on whether the event message was originally created to be sent to the nurse call system or the interface devices. In this manner, the integration interface server is configured to provide a common interface to and from the nurse call system for a variety of interface device types.

  • Patent number: 9489342
Abstract: The system has first, second, third, and fourth subsystems. Each subsystem has first and second multipliers coupled, respectively, to first and second adders. Each multiplier has two inputs. The first adder is coupled to a first output, a first accumulator, and a bit shifter. The bit shifter is coupled to a third adder. The third adder is coupled to a multiplexer. The multiplexer is coupled to a second output and a second accumulator. The second adder is coupled to the third adder and the multiplexer. The first outputs of the first and second subsystems are coupled directly to a fourth adder, the second outputs of the first and second subsystems are coupled directly to a fifth adder, the first outputs of the third and fourth subsystems are coupled directly to a sixth adder, and the second outputs of the third and fourth subsystems are coupled directly to a seventh adder.

  • Publication number: 20160165369
Abstract: A system and method are provided for control and integration of a school intercom system within each of a plurality of schools within a school district. The plurality of school intercom systems are controlled, at the district level, by a district datacenter which administers a web-based user interface. An administrator can log into the web-based user interface to configure the functionality of the various school intercom systems within the various schools of the districts. The log in credentials control which schools the administrator will have access to. Over the web-based user interface, the school administrator can configure the school intercom systems such that they are configured to perform several functions such as live paging, event schedule management, emergency event management and running pre-defined sequence events.

  • Publication number: 20140307767
Abstract: A method and wireless receiver for determining a modulation format of a transmitted signal from a received signal over a multipath channel are disclosed. The received signal has a frequency offset with respect to the transmitted signal. The wireless receiver down-samples the received signal. The down-sampled signal is equalized in order to mitigate an effect of multipath channel. Then the wireless receiver applies differential processing on the equalized signal to convert the frequency offset into a constant phase offset. Thereafter, values of one or more moment based features for the equalized signal are determined by the wireless receiver. The modulation format of the received signal is then determined based on the values of one or more moment based features.

  • Publication number: 20130120010
Abstract: A measurement instrument includes selectable channels for simultaneously measuring current on a power rail/load of a device under test. Multiplexor circuitry can be controlled to select power rails/loads for measurement and to couple unselected power rails to bypass the measurement circuitry. Active loads are provided in the measurement circuitry to compensate for loading by the measurement circuitry. The active loads cause current on a source side of a selected power rail/load to match current measured on a load side of the selected power rail/load during power measurements.
