The processor defines an area of the touchscreen as a note timing entry region and a remainder of the touchscreen as an interface region. The processor also records a timing of user taps in the note timing entry region and controls the speaker to output the sounds corresponding to the musical notes in the sequence in accordance with the timing of the user taps.
