    Abstract: Embodiments provide methods and systems for allocation of UEs in communication networks. The method comprises analysing the power consumption of the one or more access nodes, and determining, for a UE, whether the net power consumption of the communications network would be reduced if the allocation of the UE was changed. The method further comprises, if it is determined that the net power consumption of the communications network would be reduced if the allocation of the UE was changed, changing the UE allocation. The method further comprises, if it is determined that the net power consumption of the communications network would not be reduced if the allocation of the UE was changed, retaining the current UE allocation.

    Abstract: The present application relates to a method for verifying a Channel Quality Indicator (CQI) measurement performed by a first wireless device in a communication network. The communication network includes a Radio Access Network (RAN). The method includes: obtaining a first CQI measurement report including a first CQI measurement value of a measurement performed by the first wireless device on for a first downlink channel between a first RAN node and the first wireless device; identifying at least one neighbour wireless device to the first wireless device; obtaining at least one neighbour CQI measurement report from the at least one neighbour wireless device; aggregating the at least one neighbour CQI measurement report into a reference CQI measurement report set; and verifying the first CQI measurement value using the reference CQI measurement report set. The present application also relates to a verification node and a computer program product.

    Abstract: A computer implemented method for managing QoS of wireless devices in a communication network is disclosed. The method includes receiving a QoS intent from a first node, the QoS intent including an identification of a wireless device to which the QoS intent applies and a QoS requirement for the identified wireless device. The method further includes obtaining a specification of available QoS in the communication network and a specification of QoS policies in the communication network, using an ML model to determine, based on the received QoS intent and obtained specifications, at what time the at least one QoS requirement of the QoS intent can be fulfilled for the identified wireless device, and informing the first node of a result of the determination. Also disclosed is a QoS management node.

    Abstract: Traffic forwarding policy determination in a wireless communication system A node (310) of the wireless communication network receives first data indicative of estimated QoE levels of data traffic in the wireless communication network. The data traffic is subject to QoS rules enforced by one or more nodes of the wireless communication network. Further, the node (310) receives second data indicative of QoS statistics observed in association with the QoE levels. Based on the first data and the second data, the node (310) determines a traffic forwarding policy for the data traffic. The traffic forwarding policy defines QoS rules which, according to the observed QoS statistics, are expected to ensure that a QoE target is met.
