Abstract: Techniques regarding root cause analyses based on time series data are provided. For example, one or more embodiments described herein can comprise a system, which can comprise a memory that can store computer executable components. The system can also comprise a processor, operably coupled to the memory, and that can execute the computer executable components stored in the memory. The computer executable components can comprise maintenance component that can detect a cause of failure for a mechanical system by employing a greedy hill climbing process to perform a polynomial number of conditional independence tests to determine a Granger causality between variables from time series data of the mechanical system given a conditioning set.

  • Patent number: 11290481
Abstract: A tool uses a graph-based approach to analyze scripts to determine whether the scripts pose security threats when executed. The tool breaks down scripts into component steps and generates a graph based on those steps. The tool then converts the graph into a vector and compares that vector with clusters of other vectors. Based on that comparison, the tool determines whether the script will cause a security vulnerability. If the script causes a security threat when executed, the script may be prevented from executing.

  • Patent number: 11288908
Abstract: Aspects of the invention are directed towards method and system for providing secure access to a user inside the premises. One or more embodiments of the invention describe receiving a user defined pre-access condition for a predetermined time by an input interface coupled to an intrusion panel. The pre-access condition for a user are authenticated and an authentication result is notified to a cloud server. The authentication is confirmed based on the pre-access condition together with geo-location information of the user within a defined geo-fencing boundary thereby satisfying dual authentication and transmitting the authentication result to the cloud server. A preset emergency notification and location tracking information are triggered on breach of the pre-access condition and/or geo-location information to a predefined user.

  • Patent number: 11288135
Abstract: An illustrative media agent (MA) in a data storage management system instructs a NAS file server (filer) to restore an MA-created synthesized-copy instead of larger filer-created backup copies. The synthesized-copy is designed only for the particular files to be restored and mimics, and is typically much smaller than, a filer-created backup copy. The synthesized-copy is fed to the filer on restore as a “restore data image.” When receiving a restore request for certain backed-up data files, the MA synthesizes the synthesized-copy on the fly. The MA generates a header mimicking a filer-created backup header; extracts files from filer-created backup copies arranging them within the synthesized-copy as if in filer-created backups; and instructs filer to perform a full-volume restore from the synthesized-copy. The MA serves the synthesized-copy piecemeal as available, rather than waiting to synthesize the entire synthesized-copy. The synthesized-copy is not stored at the MA.
