  • Publication number: 20240370562
Abstract: A method for preprocessing cleartext strings is provided. In some embodiments, the method includes creating dynamic multidimensional spaces based on a key. The method further includes creating a position specific variability for the cleartext strings to form a preprocessed strings, where characters that appear in different positions within the cleartext strings are encoded differently in the preprocessed strings. The method also include applying encryption to the preprocessed strings or to preprocessed string fragments to form encrypted preprocessed strings, wherein the encrypted preprocessed strings are searchable in a search index.

  • Publication number: 20240365099
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for promoting communication between mobile platforms. The systems include a database storing voice profiles, a communication system configured to receive audio data from each of the mobile platforms that include speech from operators of the mobile platforms, a display system configured to provide a common display in each of the mobile platforms that includes a terrain environment and mobile platform icons for each of the mobile platforms on the terrain environment indicating the locations thereof, a controller configured to, by a processor: analyze the speech of the audio data to identify in real-time a first of the operators that is currently speaking by correlating the speech with one of the voice profiles, identify a first of the mobile platforms associated with the first operator, and indicate, on the common display, in real-time that the audio data is associated with the first mobile platform.

  • Patent number: 11523331
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable media for generating visual cues for spatial communication coverage. For instance, the method may include obtaining a proposed travel path for a vehicle; locating one or more communication channels accessible to an operator of the vehicle in an area that includes at least a portion of the proposed travel path; and analyzing one or more characteristics of the one or more communication channels to determine one or more positions within the area at which the one or more communication channels will be inaccessible to the operator. The method may further include calculating a present position and a velocity of the vehicle; determining communication channel availability; and presenting the communication channel availability to the operator via a graphical user interface.

  • Publication number: 20220269828
Abstract: An encrypted analytical vault is provided. The disclosed encrypted analytical vault may implement an entanglement process in data encryption when storing the data, and may include an Elasticsearch plugin for searching the encrypted data. The encrypted analytical vault thus allows the data stored in the vault to be searchable, aggregable, and sortable while the data are still encrypted in the vault.

  • Publication number: 20150100438
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for delivering advertisements with electronic content provided over a network and, more specifically, to techniques for selecting among advertisements that are competing for a slot associated with electronic content that is to be delivered over a network, are presented herein. Selecting among advertisements that are competing for a slot is based, at least in part, on an estimated latency for each advertisement. The estimated latency of an advertisement is a prediction of what latency will be experienced if the advertisement is served. The estimated latency may be used as one of the parameters for determining which competing advertisement to place in a slot, where advertisements that are associated with low estimated latencies are favored. For example, if all other parameters are equal, a selection mechanism selects advertisement X over advertisement Y, if the estimated latency for advertisement X is less than the estimated latency of advertisement Y.

  • Patent number: 6921413
Abstract: The present invention provides methods of directly stimulating neural tissue with optical energy. By stimulating neural tissue at wavelengths, laser pulses, and spot sizes disclosed herein, nerve stimulation may be used to uniquely stimulate neural tissue in way not afforded by other means of stimulation. It can allow basic scientists to study the properties of individual neurons or populations of neurons without piercing tissue with fragile microelectrodes. Furthermore, responses of neural tissue can be studied in a pure fashion without contamination by electrical artifact commonly seen with electrical stimulation. With respect to clinical uses, optical stimulation can be used to map function in subsections of peripheral nerves as an aid to operative repair. Finally, stimulation with optical energy does not require physical contact with the nerve which may be an advantage clinically when physical manipulation of neural tissue is not desired.
