  • Publication number: 20250080448
Abstract: Some disclosed examples involve writing a test pattern of bits to one or more fields of at least one test packet and injecting the at least one test packet into a packet processing system of a network device. Some disclosed examples involve causing the at least one test packet to loop multiple times through ingress and egress portions of the packet processing system, trapping the at least one test packet and determining whether the test pattern of the at least one test packet has been altered.

  • Publication number: 20240351928
Abstract: A fungal culture is provided that incorporates concentrations of Fenton reactants and white rot fungi biomass. These components synergize to degrade recalcitrant organic compounds such as lignins, perfluorochemicals including PFOA, plastics, and related compounds, particularly with 1.5 mM H2O2, 1 mM Fe2+, and Phanerochaete chrysosporium exhibiting lignin degrading capabilities comparable to cultures of Fenton-only reaction mediums with significantly higher concentrations of hydrogen peroxide. Both the fungi and the Fenton reactants work to degrade the organic compounds. Additionally, the Fenton reactants impose oxidative stress on fast-growing microbial competitors such as E. coli, selectively inhibiting the competing bacteria and their disadvantageous effects on white rot fungi activity. The white rot fungi recycle Fe(II) ions to reduce Fenton reactant input burden. An electro-Fenton reaction process can further reduce this burden by replenishing H2O2.

  • Patent number: 11588756
Abstract: Each switch unit in a networking system shares its local state information among other switch units in the networking system, collectively referred to as the shared forwarding state. Each switch unit creates a respective set of output queues that correspond to ports on other switch unites based on the shared forwarding state. A received packet on an ingress switch unit operating in accordance with a first routing protocol instance can be enqueued on an output queue in the ingress switch; the packet is subsequently processed by the egress switch unit, operating in accordance with a second routing protocol instance that corresponds to the output queue.

  • Patent number: 11459308
Abstract: The present invention is related to the development of therapeutics and prophylactics for the treatment and/or prevention of filovirus infection in humans and other mammals. A new class of small molecules is disclosed that inhibits the interaction of naturally processed (i.e., proteolytically cleaved) filovirus glycoprotein (GPCL) with its host receptor Niemann-Pick C1 (NPC1) protein and thus block infection of host cells by filoviruses. Also disclosed are methods of using the small molecule inhibitors in the treatment/prevention of filovirus infection.
