  • Publication number: 20240115838
Abstract: A balloon catheter includes a catheter having longitudinally opposite proximal and distal catheter end portions. The catheter has a catheter inflation opening. An expandable balloon is positioned on at least the distal catheter end portion. The balloon defines at least one balloon opening. A first balloon catheter lumen extends substantially longitudinally from the proximal catheter end portion toward the distal catheter end portion. A second balloon catheter lumen extends substantially longitudinally from the proximal catheter end portion to at least the at least one balloon opening. An inflation lumen extends substantially longitudinally from the proximal catheter end portion to the catheter inflation opening. The catheter inflation opening provides fluid communication between the inflation lumen and an inflatable volume of the expandable balloon.

  • Patent number: 11793658
Abstract: An implant delivery system is provided for deploying an expandable implant in a patient lumen. An outer sheath has an outer sheath lumen that extends between an outer sheath proximal opening and an outer sheath open tip. At least one outer sheath side wall opening selectively places an outer sheath outer surface in fluid communication with the outer sheath lumen. At least one outer sheath open slit extends at least partially between the outer sheath open tip and a respective outer sheath side wall opening. A shaft has at least one shaft side wall opening that selectively places a shaft outer surface in fluid communication with at least one shaft lumen. When the shaft is operably joined to the outer sheath, at least a portion of the at least one shaft side wall opening is selectively aligned with a respective outer sheath side wall opening.

  • Patent number: 11534203
Abstract: An introducer sheath is provided for inserting at least one medical instrument directly toward a target patient tissue site. A plurality of lumens extend longitudinally between sheath proximal and distal ends of the introducer sheath. A septum extends between the sheath proximal and distal ends and selectively laterally separates each of the sheath lumens from one another. The septum is at least partially formed from a deformable and elastomeric material. The septum has a biased condition in which the plurality of sheath lumens are at least partially isolated from one another. The septum is selectively deflectable from the biased condition to at least partially place at least one of the plurality of sheath lumens in fluid communication with at least one other of the plurality of sheath lumens.

  • Patent number: 11446169
Abstract: A bifurcated implant delivery system is provided for deploying a bifurcated expandable implant in a patient lumen. A shaft has at least two shaft proximal openings. A shaft distal end has at least two shaft branches longitudinally extending from a shaft body distal end. Each of the shaft branches has a shaft open tip. The shaft has at least one shaft lumen that longitudinally extends between a respective shaft proximal opening and at least one respective shaft open tip. A reinforcing element longitudinally extends from the shaft body distal end. An outer sheath has an outer sheath proximal opening and at least one outer sheath open tip. An outer sheath lumen longitudinally extends between the outer sheath proximal opening and the at least one outer sheath open tip. The outer sheath lumen is for selectively holding at least a portion of the shaft and a bifurcated expandable implant therein.

  • Publication number: 20210322739
Abstract: A modular dilation device is provided for inserting multiple dilators into a target patient tissue site. The modular dilation device includes a first dilator and a second dilator. The first dilator has a first dilator distal end and a first dilator inner lumen. The first dilator has a first dilator side wall opening. The first dilator distal end has a first dilator open tip. The first dilator has a first dilator open slit. The first dilator open slit extends between the first dilator side wall opening and the first dilator open tip. The second dilator has a second dilator distal end and a second dilator inner lumen. The second dilator distal end has a second dilator open tip. When the second dilator is joined to the first dilator, the second dilator open tip is adjacent to the first dilator side wall opening.
