  • Patent number: 9255751
Abstract: A bipod includes a mount body, a clutch assembly, a clamp member, a side plate assembly including spaced side plates and legs. The mount body is suitable for mounting to a firearm. The clutch assembly is rotatably mounted to the mount body and is divided into lower and upper portions which define side plate slots suitable for receiving the side plates of the side plate assembly. The clamp member is common to the mount body and the clutch assembly. The clamp member can be tightened to fix the side plate assembly relative to the clutch assembly and the clutch assembly relative to the mount body or can be loosened to allow the side plate assembly to slide through the clutch assembly and the clutch assembly to rotate relative to the mount body. The bipod is supported by the legs which extend downwardly from opposite ends of the side plate assembly.

  • Patent number: 8904693
Abstract: A bipod for supporting the forward portion of a firearm includes a clamp portion, a pivot body and a pair of leg assemblies. The clamp portion is adapted for clamping to a firearm and is pivotably mounted to the pivot body for pivoting about a vertical axis and a longitudinal axis. The pivot body includes a pair of leg mounting surfaces. A pair of leg assemblies are pivotably mounted to the mounting surfaces of the pivot block so that each leg assembly may be pivoted about an axis that is generally normal to the mounting surface and such that each leg assembly can be adjustably positioned in one of at least two positions.

  • Patent number: 7100318
Abstract: The adjustable firearm support of present invention works in combination with a firearm stock having a butt pad bolt or a stock built of sufficient materials to fasten to utilizing a common threaded fastener. This adjustable firearm support includes a support rod, base member, a positioning block, positioning pin and a support leg. The positioning block is pivotably received by the base member for rotating movement between a first retracted position and a second extended position for use. A locking mechanism allows an operator to selectively lock the adjustable firearm support in either the retracted or extended position. In one embodiment of the adjustable support, a base member is adapted to fit the generally upright inside surface of a fire arm stock so configured and employ a unique internally threaded socket bolt to capture and tighten up against a bolt which is carried by the firearm stock.

  • Patent number: 5937560
Abstract: The adjustable firearm support of present invention works in combination with a firearm stock having a sling stud mounted to its underside near its butt end. This firearm support includes four basic parts; namely, a support rod, a base member, a position sleeve and a support leg. The support rod has a pivotally mounted clasp for engaging the sling stud and a threaded outer surface for receiving the position sleeve and the support leg which both have threaded central bores. The base member has an upper cradle surface for fitting up against the firearm stock, a central bore for receiving the support rod and a side slot for allowing the support rod to pivot in relation to its clasp into a horizontal folded position. An assembled adjustable firearm support can be attached to a firearm stock by engaging the clasp with the sling stud and tightening the position sleeve up against base member.
