    Abstract: An apparatus for growing plants comprises two towers located adjacent to each other and forming an outside perimeter surface, a tray located in the bottom of the outside perimeter surface; and a cable system configured to pull a plurality of pods along the outside perimeter, each pod having containers, the cable system configured to bring at least one pod in a contact with a liquid located in the tray. A plant growth monitoring system comprises a plurality of sensors, a plurality of distributors configured to distribute fertilizers in response to received commands, and a controller configured to receive a sensor data from the plurality of sensors, determine commands for a stage of growth of plants based on a sensor data received and transmit the commands to the distributors. A method of initiating a plant in preparation of its introduction into a vertical farm unit is also disclosed.

    Abstract: Various examples of approaches for using and implementing cascaded text formatting within electronic publishing and display mediums are described herein. In an example, a method for analyzing and re-formatting a stream of text, includes: obtaining a stream of human-readable text in a natural language processing (NLP) parser to identify parts-of-speech and key phrases in a proper sentence; tagging the identified parts-of-speech according to the respective parts and key phrases; generating a text cascade arrangement for a display of the proper sentence by applying predefined rules to the part-of-speech and key phrases, where such a display of the proper sentence provides breaks and cascading, including indentations, according to the pre-defined rules; and outputting an electronic display of the proper sentence which includes the text cascade arrangement.

Upon receiving a selected search result, a modified search query is generated comprising the one or more search terms of the first search query and one or more relevant terms from the selected search result and is executed against a second jurisdictional database. One or more secondary search results that are responsive to the modified search query are identified and then presented at the graphical user interface.
