  • Patent number: 10153861
Abstract: A device may receive optical network information associated with a first optical node and a second optical node. The first optical node may be associated with a first group of optical devices. The second optical node may be associated with a second group of optical devices. The device may identify a first mapping in which a first group of optical channels is associated with the first group of optical devices and a second mapping in which a second group of optical channels is associated with the second group of optical devices. The first group of optical channels may correspond to the first group of payloads, and the second group of optical channels may correspond to the second group of payloads. The device may provide information depicting the first mapping and information depicting the second mapping.

    Assignee: Infinera Corporation
Inventors: Karthikeyan Mathruboodham Nagarajan, Ravindarreddy Ankireddy, Kasi Viswanadham Pydi, Yashpal Kumar, Musab Qamri
  • Patent number: 10009349
Abstract: In the disclosed method, a current state of a network device indicative of no license key being associated with a network device is stored in a license database. Information indicative of a master state of the network device is received, via an input port, including at least one license key associated with the network device. The current state of the network device is updated to include the at least one license key associated with the network device, and the updated current state is stored in the license database.

  • Patent number: 9648020
Abstract: A license management system comprises at least one processor capable of executing processor-executable code coupled with a non-transitory processor-readable medium storing a master license database and processor-executable code for causing the processor to: (a) store a master state of a network device indicative of at least one license key associated with the network device in the master license database; (b) access information indicative of a license key request for the network device subsequent to the storing of the master state, the license key request including a current state of the network device; (c) compare the master state of the network device with the current state of the network device; and (d) in response to the master state differing from the current state of the network device, generate an error message and store the error message in non-transitory processor-readable medium.

  • Publication number: 20150095237
Abstract: A license management system coupled with a network and having at least one processor capable of executing processor-executable code coupled with a non-transitory processor-readable medium storing processor-executable code for causing the at least one processor to: (1) read a current licensing transaction tamp value of a network element and a restored licensing transaction stamp value of the network element; (2) determine whether a discrepancy exists between the restored licensing transaction stamp value and the current licensing transaction stamp value; and (3) in response to the discrepancy between the restored licensing transaction stamp value and the current licensing transaction stamp value, transmit an alert to a user via an output port.
