    Abstract: The invention relates to a pressure regulator for a fuel delivery system of an internal combustion engine for regulating a fuel pressure, including a valve, which has a valve ball that is pressed against a valve seat in the closed position by the action of a valve leaf spring. A segment of a hemisphere of the valve ball oriented toward the valve leaf spring protrudes into a recess associated with the valve leaf spring. This improves the noise behavior and regulating behavior of the pressure regulator.

    Abstract: A known hydraulic vehicle brake system has an anti-skid valve assembly. By this assembly, the at least one wheel brake can be temporarily disconnected from the master brake cylinder and connected to one inlet of a return pump, which furnishes the quantities of pressure fluid flowing out of the wheel brakes both to a damper chamber and, via a damper throttle, to the master brake cylinder and/or the at least one wheel brake. The disadvantage is that all of the pressure fluid pumped by the return pump can sometimes reach the master brake cylinder, disagreeably moving the brake pedal in the direction of its outset position. This can annoy a driver and should be avoided. The improved vehicle brake system has a valve, which in anti-skid operation can be blocked, located between the damper throttle and the master brake cylinder and also has a bypass throttle bypassing the valve. As a result, during anti-skid operation, the brake pedal is not displaced to such an annoying extent.

    Abstract: An acceleration pickup has a housing of a diamagnetic or paramagnetic material enclosing a ferromagnetic ball acting as seismic mass. The ball is held in a starting position on the bottom of the housing by means of a magnetic field generated by a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. By means of four induction sensitive sensors such as for example Hall effect sensors arranged opposite each other on the circumference of the housing, the momentary value and direction of acceleration component acting on the pickup is determined. The acceleration pickup is simple in construction and cost effective in manufacture and is easily adjustable to different applications.
