Abstract: A disinfecting cleaning intensifier for dry cleaning is disclosed, containing--in addition to at least one disinfecting quaternary ammonium chloride surfactant and water--the diammonium salt of an aliphatic linear .alpha., .omega.-dicarboxylic acid having from 2 to 5 methylene groups or the triammonium salt of a tricarboxylic acid, namely citric acid or tricarballylic acid, and a tertiary amine corresponding to the general formula NR.sub.1 R.sub.1 R.sub.2 or NR.sub.1 'R.sub.1 'R.sub.2 ' in whichR.sub.1 represents methyl,R.sub.2 represents a fatty alkyl group containing from 8 to 18 carbon atoms,R.sub.1 ' represents a hydroxy ethyl group --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --OH, andR.sub.2 ' represents an ethylene glycol monoalkyl ether radical corresponding to the following formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.3 represents a fatty alkyl group containing from 10 to 18 carbon atoms, or a mixture of these tertiary ammonium salts.

Abstract: A cleaning intensifier is disclosed for use in dry-cleaning machines equipped with adsorption filters, which intensifier is not adsorbed by the filters. The cleaning intensifier contains a quaternary ammonium salt in the form of difatty alkyl dimethyl ammonium chloride containing from 12 to 18 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical or a mixture of the homologues, and the triammonium salt of a tricarboxylic acid citric acid or tricarballylic acid, and a tertiary amine in the form of a fatty alkyl dimethylamine containing from 8 to 18 carbon atoms in the alkyl radical or a hydroxy ethyl amine derivative corresponding to the formula ##STR1## where R is a fatty alkyl radical containing from 10 to 18 carbon atoms, or a mixture of these triammonium salts.

Abstract: Processes for the treatment of textile fabrics which comprises applying to the fabrics a finishing agent of the group consisting of(a) phosphoric acid esters of poly(oxyethylene) alkanols and salts thereof having the formulae[R--O--(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.n ].sub.3 P.dbd.Oor ##STR1## OR MIXTURES OF THESE COMPOUNDS, IN WHICH FORMULAE R is a straight-chain alkyl radical having at least 16 and at most 18 carbon atoms, n is an integer of at least 10 and at most 14, and Me is a monovalent metal ion, and(b) monoglycerides and diglycerides of saturated aliphatic straight-chain fatty acids having at least 12 and at most 14 carbon atoms, and(c) mixtures of the said finishing agents at (a), (b) and (c).
