  • Publication number: 20190029630
Abstract: In a method for using a medical instrument, in particular a medical imaging device, the medical instrument is selectively operable in a first mode giving access to the medical instrument and in a second mode giving limited access, in particular refusing access, to the medical instrument. When access to the medical instrument is requested, by using a human-machine-interface of the medical instrument, i.e. in an attended mode, the medical instrument is transferred into the first mode or into the second mode in response to the request. The medical instrument is also transferred into the first mode by using a second human-machine interface at a remote site, when the first human-machine-interface of the medical instrument is inactive for a defined period of time, in particular after requesting the access, i.e. in an unattended mode.

  • Publication number: 20180078228
Abstract: In a method and magnetic resonance (MR) apparatus for automatic selection of at least one scan program for a MR examination of a patient, at least one item of patient-specific information and/or at least one item of examination-specific information for the examination is provided as an input to a computer. Multiple available scan programs are made accessible to the computer. The computer is programmed to execute a self-learning algorithm, with the at least one item of information as an input to the self-learning algorithm, in order to automatically select the at least one scan program for the magnetic resonance examination from among the set of available scan programs. The computer then makes an electronic representation or designation of the at least one scan program that was the result of executing the self-learning algorithm available as an output from the computer.

  • Publication number: 20170027538
Abstract: In a method for communication between a user and a medical network into which at least one medical imaging device is integrated, using mobile data glasses, the mobile data glasses are connected to the medical network by a network unit, and a medical examination to be conducted on a patient is selected from a database by a communication unit. At least one item of examination-relevant information of the medical examination to be conducted on the patient is also selected by the communication unit. The at least one item of examination-relevant information is displayed at the mobile data glasses.
