  • Publication number: 20240074036
Abstract: A circuit module comprising a printed circuit board, PCB, arrangement, a connection module, CM, and a high frequency circuit carrier, HFCC, are provided. The HFCC is arranged on the PCB arrangement. The CM is mounted on the PCB arrangement. The CM comprises at least one connection pad and is configured to electrically connect a metallic structure on or in the printed circuit board to the connection pad of the CM. The HFCC comprises at least one connection pad. At least one bond wire is provided to electrically connect the at least one connection pad to the HFCC to the at least one connection pad of the CM. The CM has a height over the PCB so that the at least one connection pad of the HFCC and at least one connection pad of the CM are on a same level or have a height difference that is less than 2 mm, preferably less than 1 mm, most preferably less than 0.8 mm.

  • Publication number: 20220342066
Abstract: Various embodiments of the teachings herein include a method for determining a target position of a surroundings sensor of a vehicle using a vehicle-side attachment element as a calibration object, wherein the sensor and the attachment element are movable relative to each other. The method includes: ascertaining a first position of the surroundings sensor in a first relative pose; moving the sensor and/or the element from the first pose to a second pose between the sensor and the element; ascertaining a second actual position of the surroundings sensor in the second relative pose; and determining the target position of the surroundings sensor by averaging the first position and the second position to form an averaged actual position and assigning the averaged actual position as the target position.

  • Publication number: 20210285350
Abstract: Various embodiments include a catalyst measuring system for determining the aging of an SCR catalytic converter, the system comprising: a control device with a processor; an SCR catalytic converter for treating the exhaust gases of a vehicle; a high-frequency sensor for measuring a level of ammonia loading of the SCR catalytic converter; and an ammonia dosing system for injecting ammonia into an exhaust system of the vehicle. The control device instructs the ammonia dosing system to inject ammonia selectively into the exhaust system. The control device compares data measured by the high-frequency sensor with a predefined threshold value to determine the aging of the SCR catalytic converter.

  • Patent number: 10539060
Abstract: Various embodiments include a catalyst measuring system for on-board diagnostics and for determining the aging of an SCR catalytic converter for a vehicle comprising: a processor; an SCR catalytic converter for purifying exhaust gas of the vehicle; a high-frequency sensor for determining the ammonia loading of the SCR catalytic converter; a NOx sensor for sensing the NOx concentration downstream of the SCR catalytic converter; and an ammonia dosing system for injecting ammonia into an exhaust system of the vehicle. The control device instructs the ammonia dosing system to inject ammonia selectively into the exhaust system at a plurality of different dosing rates. The control device evaluates data received from the NOx sensor and of the high-frequency sensor to calculate the ammonia dosing rate.

  • Publication number: 20190249587
Abstract: Various embodiments include a catalyst measuring system for determining the aging state of a catalytic converter comprising: an SCR catalytic converter; and a high-frequency measuring arrangement including a processor, a first antenna, and a second antenna. The first antenna is located upstream of the SCR catalytic converter in the exhaust tract and the second antenna is located downstream of the catalytic converter. The processor instructs the antennas to selectively emit and receive electromagnetic signals and evaluates the transmitted and the received electromagnetic signals to compare them with predefined threshold values. The processor determines an aging state of the SCR catalytic converter based on the comparison.
