  • Publication number: 20160335907
Abstract: A flight training system provides training for aircraft pilots. In some examples, the system includes one or more computers and one or more non-transitory computer readable media storing instructions that, when executed by the one or more computers, cause the one or more computers to provide the flight training. In operation, the computers execute a pedagogical trainer for presenting a structured sequence of training tasks to a trainee, a simulation trainer for providing free-play capacity in a computer simulated aircraft environment to the trainee, and an integration kernel is provided for transitioning the trainee between the pedagogical trainer and the simulation trainer.

  • Publication number: 20150111180
Abstract: Methods, devices, and computer readable media are disclosed for simulating user interactions with a simulated aircraft cockpit, for example and without limitation, for aircraft simulation and training uses. In some aspects, a system for simulating user interactions with a simulated aircraft cockpit includes a simulation server including a hardware processor and configured to receive user interaction data from an interactive device and compute an output data based on the received user interaction data. In addition, the system also includes an application module configured to render the output data on a simulated aircraft cockpit screen.

  • Publication number: 20110246160
Abstract: The invention in particular has as an object a method and a device for developing and qualifying a part of the software component of a training simulator for operating a vehicle. Software modules developed for an engineering simulator, modeling the performance of a part of the vehicle, are integrated (400) with a virtualization software application to form a virtual machine that allows the running of these modules in an environment separate from that for which they were developed. Certified (405), the virtual machine may be integrated (435) with other software modules in the training simulator. The training simulator then may be certified (440) without its being necessary to certify the part thereof linked to the virtual machine.
