A weight detection device is positioned to detect a weight of the objects in the trunk. An electronic processing device is communicatively coupled to each of the camera and the weight detection device. The electronic processing device causes a user of the vehicle to be informed of the objects in the trunk based on signals received from the camera and the weight detection device.
