  • Publication number: 20090017019
Abstract: Methods and compositions for modulating cardiac, renal and vascular cell function and homeostasis using agonists and antagonists of BMP-10 are disclosed. In particular, methods for treating, preventing and/or diagnosing BMP-10-associated vascular, renal, fibrotic and cardiac conditions and/or disorders are disclosed. • Publication number: 20030154032
Abstract: The invention provides methods and compositions for diagnostic assays for detecting R.A. and therapeutic methods and compositions for treating R.A. The invention also provides methods for designing, identifying, and optimizing therapeutics for R.A. Diagnostic compositions of the invention include compositions comprising detection agents for detecting one or more genes that have been shown to be up- or down-regulated in cells of R.A. relative to normal counterpart cells. Exemplary detection agents include nucleic acid probes, which can be in solution or attached to a solid surface, e.g., in the form of a microarray. The invention also provides computer-readable media comprising values of levels of expression of one or more genes that are up- or down-regulated in R.A.
