  • Patent number: 9981634
Abstract: A support panel adjacent to the windshield opening has an upper surface and a lower surface with a first shaft opening. A wiper drive mechanism is supported to the vehicle body structure and extends along the lower surface of the support panel. The wiper drive mechanism includes a shaft housing and a wiper shaft pivotally supported within the shaft housing. A water diverting panel at least partially covers the wiper drive mechanism and is attached thereto and has a cylindrically shaped portion extending upward therefrom. The cylindrically shaped portion defines a second shaft opening with the shaft housing and wiper shaft extending upward through the second shaft opening and further extending upward through the first shaft opening. A filter member is mounted to the cylindrically shaped portion above the water diverting panel and below the support panel encircling the shaft housing.

  • Patent number: 9150156
Abstract: A vehicle mirror assembly includes a vehicle attachment member, a mirror housing, a mirror and a camera. The vehicle attachment member is configured for attachment to a vehicle. The mirror housing is telescopically coupled to the vehicle attachment member between a retracted position and an extended position relative to the vehicle attachment member. The mirror housing defines a camera receiving recess. The mirror is coupled to the mirror housing. The camera is coupled to the vehicle attachment member and disposed in the camera receiving recess of the mirror housing at a fixed position relative to the vehicle attachment member while the mirror housing is moved between the extended position and the retracted position.

  • Patent number: 9057833
Abstract: An exterior vehicle mirror assembly includes a base, a mirror housing and a camera housing. The base has a mounting portion configured to attach to an exterior vehicle panel. The mirror housing is coupled to the base and extends from the base. The camera housing is coupled to the base adjacent to the mirror housing and extends from the base such that the mirror housing and the camera housing extend away from the base in respective directions are substantially parallel to one another with the mirror housing in an in-use orientation. A distal end of the camera housing is spaced apart from the mirror housing.
