Abstract: A system for managing inventory is provided that comprises a plurality of user terminals, each at a point-of-use location associated with an inventory-consuming entity, a web portal server computer accessible by the plurality of user terminals through an internet, the web portal server administered by the inventory-consuming entity, and a database server in communication with the web portal server. The database server administers a database comprising a plurality of tables relating to user roles and privileges records, consumable part quantity on hand, vendor information, and consumable part characteristics in order to provide a multi-level point of use replenishment system.
