Abstract: A decal for tanning a body part over the course of a series of tanning sessions. The tanning decal has a first transparent sheet and a second opaque sheet having a design. In a first exemplary embodiment, the second sheet is removably adhered to the first sheet so that the first sheet can be removed from the second sheet for tanning the design on the body part. In a second exemplary embodiment, the second sheet is adhered to or formed into the first sheet so that it can be left on the body part for tanning the design on the body part. Methods for tanning the body part using the first and second exemplary embodiments are also provided.
