Abstract: A device for applying a hair coloring product to a lock of scalp hair includes a pair of gripping members. Each gripping member comprises a free end including an inner faces, an outer face, and a plurality of fibers extending from the inner face. The pluralities of fibers are configured to be loaded with the hair coloring product, and the device is configured so that application of a pressing force to at least one of the gripping members moves at least one of the inner faces toward the other inner face so as to enable application of the hair coloring product to a lock of hair positioned between the inner faces.

Abstract: A hair coloring system includes at least one component of a hair coloring product and a container configured to contain the hair coloring product. The container may include a neck having a connecting portion and a top neck end. The system may further include an applicator tip for applying the hair coloring product to hair. The applicator tip may include a base portion configured to connect the applicator tip releasably to the connecting portion of the neck of the container and a nozzle portion extending from the base portion to a top end of the tip. The applicator tip and the container may be configured such that when the applicator tip is fully connected to the connecting portion of the neck of the container, an axial length from the top neck end to the top end of the tip is greater than about 1.9 inches.

Abstract: Products, packagings, display, and methods relating to hair coloring are disclosed. In some examples, a packaging for a hair coloring product includes a reflective portion configured to provide a reflection of a subject's hair color so as to permit the subject to compare the reflection of the subject's hair color to at least one representation of hair color. Certain examples may include multiple representations of hair after treatment with differing hair coloring products.

Abstract: Various methods, systems and structures relating to hair treatment are disclosed. They include a kit made up of a hair dye and a hair highlight. The kit may contain instructions to apply the highlight while the hair remains moist. A bristled applicator may be included in the kit for use in applying highlight to the hair. Corresponding methods of use and marketing are also disclosed.
