Abstract: A cat litter box system includes a shield section. The shield section includes shield section sidewalls. A front entryway is disposed in the shield section sidewalls. The front entry way includes a frame having grooves disposed within the frame of the front entry way. A plurality of sliding panels are removable from the front entry way. The sliding panels are configured to stack and abut on top of one another within the grooves of the frame of the front entryway. The sliding panels form an overspray barrier within the front entryway. The overspray barrier has at least three adjustable heights based on the number of sliding panels stacked and abutted within the front entryway.
