Abstract: A container lid includes a base portion including a threaded central shaft which includes a threaded central shaft axis. A cap portion is rotatably engaged with the base portion. The cap portion includes a spout pivotably coupled to the cap portion between a closed position and an open position about a spout pivot axis. A drive fin is disposed adjacent the threaded central shaft. A nut is engaged with both the threaded central shaft and the drive fin. A linkage couples the nut to the spout, wherein a rotational movement of the cap portion relative to the base portion slides the nut along the drive fin, thereby moving the spout from the closed position to the open position.
