Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for use in assessing fees associated with payment account transactions. One exemplary method includes identifying, by at least one computing device, a transaction associated with a payment account where the payment account is associated with a consumer and issued by an issuer, and retrieving a fee schedule for the issuer where the fee schedule includes multiple fees and where each of the multiple fees is associated with the issuer and identified to at least one transaction dimension. The method also includes selecting, by the at least one computing device, at least one fee for the transaction from the multiple fees in the fee schedule based on at least one transaction dimension of the identified transaction, and providing the selected at least one fee for the identified transaction, whereby the at least one fee is assessed to the payment account for payment by the consumer.
