  • Patent number: 11657621
Abstract: A method controls a motor vehicle including a plurality of sensors for acquiring raw data relative to the environment of the vehicle and a computational unit for receiving the raw data acquired by the sensors. The method includes: the computational unit receives the raw data and processes the raw data to deduce therefrom pieces of information relative to the environment of the vehicle and coefficients of probability of error in the deduction of each piece of information, and settings for controlling the vehicle are generated depending on the pieces of information and the probability coefficients. For at least one of the sensors, a quality coefficient relative to the quality of the raw data sent by this sensor is determined, the reliability of the control settings is estimated, and a decision is made to correct or not correct the control settings depending on the estimated reliability of the control settings.

  • Patent number: 11157328
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for a distributed processing quality of service algorithm for system performance optimization under thermal constraints are disclosed. An example method includes transmitting, at a first time, a first kernel assignment to a system on chip, the first kernel assignment including an indication of a plurality of kernels assigned to a first sub-system of the system on chip, determining, at the first time, a temperature associated with hardware of the system on chip, when the temperature is above a threshold temperature, generating a second kernel assignment including an indication of a first subset of the plurality of kernels assigned to the first sub-system and an indication of a second subset of the plurality of kernels assigned to a second sub-system of the system on chip, and transmitting, at a second time later than the first time, the second kernel assignment to the system on chip.

  • Patent number: 9612879
Abstract: Processors, systems, and methods are arranged to schedule tasks on heterogeneous processor cores. For example, a scheduler is arranged to perform a heuristics based function for allocating operating system tasks to the processor cores. The system includes a hint generator providing a system constraints-aware function that biases the scheduler to select a processor core depending on the change in one or more performance constraint parameters.

  • Patent number: 8681762
Abstract: A system comprises transceiver logic that receives signals on each of an array of frequencies. The transceiver logic is adapted to communicate using a first communication protocol. Processing logic couples to the transceiver logic. The processing logic identifies from among the array of frequencies a subset of shared frequencies that carry data transmitted using a second communication protocol. The processing logic adjusts frequency selection parameters in accordance with the identification. The processing logic uses the adjusted frequency selection parameters to select a target frequency from the array of frequencies to carry data.

  • Patent number: 8587298
Abstract: A current measuring device in a power electronics system includes at least one circuit board and an electrical conductor which is guided through a frame surrounding the circuit board. The current measuring device includes a soft magnetic core surrounding the insulation of the electrical conductor, which core is arranged in the frame. The soft magnetic core is open at one location. A magnetically sensitive sensor, in particular a Hall sensor, is arranged in the recess of the soft magnetic core surrounding the insulation of the electrical conductor in order to detect the magnetic field strength.
