  • Publication number: 20230396925
Abstract: An in-vehicle communication device includes: a controller to execute control for selecting at least one speaker from among a plurality of speakers in a vehicle interior, the at least one speaker outputting sound input into one of a plurality of microphones in the vehicle interior; a sound recognizer that recognizes a word included in the sound; and a memory that stores association information that associates the plurality of microphones and speakers with each other. The controller is further configured to: in a case where the sound recognizer recognizes that sound input into one of the plurality of microphones includes a specific word, based on the association information, execute control for causing a speaker of the plurality of speakers associated with the one microphone into which the sound is input, to output sound that is input subsequently to the specific word into the one microphone into which the sound is input.

  • Publication number: 20230386496
Abstract: An audio signal processing device includes: an output sound signal generator configured to generate from an input sound signal with an input sampling frequency an output sound signal with an output sampling frequency; a plurality of functional blocks configured to perform signal processing on the output sound signal; and a function selector configured to select one of the plurality of functional blocks. The output sound signal generator sets the output sampling frequency according to the internal sampling frequency used in the selected functional block.

  • Publication number: 20230290368
Abstract: A call processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes a controller. The controller is configured to (i) perform a removal process of removing driving sounds of a vehicle other than a specific driving sound from sounds collected by a microphone in a cabin of the vehicle while an occupant of the vehicle is talking on a phone, and (ii) transmit an adjusted sound generated by performing the removal process to a call opposite party who is talking with the occupant of the vehicle via the phone.

  • Patent number: 11580981
Abstract: An in-vehicle apparatus is connectable to a device that includes a voice assistant function. The in-vehicle apparatus includes: a voice detector that performs voice recognition of an audio signal input from a microphone and that controls functions of the in-vehicle apparatus based on a result of the voice recognition; and an interface that communicates with the device. When being informed of a detection of a predetermined word in the audio signal as the result of the voice recognition of the audio signal performed by the voice detector, the interface sends to the device, not via the voice detector, the audio signal input from the microphone. The predetermined word is for activating the voice assistant function of the device.

  • Patent number: 11107489
Abstract: A signal processing apparatus includes a generator, an output controller, and an echo canceller. The generator generates an output sound signal by combining an over-the-phone sound signal with a system sound signal different from the over-the-phone sound signal. The output controller outputs, to a loudspeaker, the output sound signal generated by the generator. The echo canceller cancels the output sound signal from an input sound signal input via a microphone located in a vicinity of the loudspeaker. The output controller suppresses a level of the system sound signal to be output from the loudspeaker so as not to be greater than a predetermined value within a range in which a volume value for the over-the-phone sound signal is settable.
