  • Patent number: 4749344
Abstract: An oil feeding device for a scroll fluid apparatus. A fixed scroll member is associated with an orbiting scroll member. A crankshaft rotatably supported by a bearing of a frame has a crank portion engaging with a plain bearing of the orbiting scroll member. A variable speed driving motor is connected to the crankshaft. An oil feeding passageway is provided in the crankshaft and the crank portion. Oil is supplied to the plain bearing of the orbiting scroll member through a space at the end face of the crank portion. An oil flow passage is provided in parallel with the axis and in a surface of the crank portion located at a position advanced through approximately 45 degrees toward the rotational direction of the crank portion, from a position at which the load acting radially of the shaft due to the centrifugal force caused by the orbiting motion of the orbiting scroll member is applied to the crank portion of the shaft.

  • Patent number: 4685335
Abstract: A method and apparatus for monitoring cracks of a rotatable body by detecting cracks by measuring accoustic emission signals and evaluating the depth of cracks from the result of the comparison of assumed vibrations of the rotatable body and its measured vibrations. By this method and apparatus not only the beginning of cracking of the rotatable body, but also the progress of cracking on an online basis can be detected and monitored.

  • Patent number: 4647271
Abstract: An impeller of a centrifugal blower includes a hub, a hub plate, a plurality of blades and a shroud. The hub plate has an outer diameter which is smaller than an inner diameter of the shroud and a portion of the blades existing in the difference between the diameters is provided with a parting plane of molds, whereby the impeller can be integrally molded by the injection molding.

  • Patent number: 4635210
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for detecting the condition of a crack generated in a rotor of a rotary machine during an operation thereof to check whether the crack is developing or not. The number of revolutions of the rotor and oscillations of journal end portions of the rotor born by the bearings are continually detected. The detection of the crack condition is made on the basis of the detected signal corresponding to the waveform of each half of at least one cycle of the detected rotor oscillation. Disclosed also is an apparatus for carrying out the method.

  • Patent number: 4377947
Abstract: A device for identifying an acoustic sound producing location in an axial direction of a rotating body by using an acoustic signal and a rotational pulse signal. In the device, a rubbing location identifying signal is provided in synchronism with the rotational pulse signal in which the pulse interval corresponds to the distance between acoustic sensors or a rotor length. A phase of a peak in a rubbing location identifying signal as measured with respect to the pulse represents an acutal rubbing location.
