  • Publication number: 20220280757
Abstract: A valve body and a medical instrument provided with the valve body can stably maintain sealing performance for preventing air/blood leakage while maintaining a smooth insertion feeling even when various types of medical devices are repeatedly inserted and removed. The valve body includes a main body portion having oppositely facing first and second surfaces, an outer peripheral surface extending between the first and second surfaces, and an insertion portion having an inner surface defining a gap that allows insertion of a medical device and formed at least on the first surface. The main body portion contains a self-repairing material that allows self-repairing damage resulting from contact with the medical device. At least part of the inner surface of the insertion portion is provided with a coating layer that prevents the gap from being closed by self-repair when portions of the inner surface of the insertion portion contact each other.

  • Patent number: 9358335
Abstract: A puncture device is provided that does not allow an outer needle to collapse or rise at the time of puncture and exhibits small puncture resistance. A puncture device 1 includes: a hollow outer needle 2; an outer needle hub 3 provided at a proximal end portion of the outer needle 2; a hollow inner needle 4 inserted into the outer needle 2 for use; and an inner needle hub 5 provided at a proximal end portion of the inner needle 4. The inner needle 4 includes, from the distal side, a sharp needlepoint 41, a small diameter portion 42 having an almost uniform outer diameter; an intermediate portion 43 formed as a tapered portion which is progressively increased in outer diameter as it goes toward the proximal end; and a larger diameter portion 44 having inner and outer diameters larger than inner and outer diameters, respectively, of the small diameter portion 42.

  • Publication number: 20160113640
Abstract: An applicator is disclosed, which includes a nozzle, the nozzle including a gas channel through which a gas G flows, a plurality of liquid channels which are provided inside the gas channel and through which each of a first liquid and a second liquid flows, and a confluence portion which is located on a downstream side of the liquid channels and in which the flows of the liquids join. Of the gas channel, a portion between the liquid channels and the confluence portion is configured from a single gas-permeable tube composed of a gas-permeable membrane permeable to the gas but impermeable to the liquids. The gas-permeable tube is independently connected to the liquid channels, and has a first independent channel and a second independent channel through which the first liquid and the second liquid flow toward the confluence portion together with the gas flowing in through the gas-permeable membrane.

  • Patent number: 8974424
Abstract: The syringe includes first and second outer cylinders having a flowing port at a distal end through which liquid is flowable, and a plunger inserted from the proximal side of the outer cylinder. The syringe includes a tooth portion provided along the direction of movement of the plunger, and a hook configured to lock the tooth portion at a predetermined locking position and prevent the movement of the plunger in the direction toward the proximal end. The hook retracts from the locking position in association with the unlocking operation and restores automatically to the locking position after the unlocking operation.
