Abstract: The present invention provides an image processing apparatus comprising: a principal object extraction device which extracts a shape of a principal object from an overall screen of an image entered, a weighted area determining device which determines a plurality of areas including the area of the principal object that matches the shape of the extracted principal object as a weighted area, a weighting factor determining device which determines a weighting factor for each of the determined weighted areas, a measuring device which divides the overall screen into a plurality of areas and calculates measured values of divided photometry and/or divided colorimetry for each divided area, and a correction device which performs exposure correction and/or white balance correction based on a measured value calculated for each divided area and a weighting factor determined for each of the weighted areas to which the divided area of each measured value belongs.

Abstract: An image mapping method comprising the steps of acquiring a captured image as well as positional information of an image object in the captured image and positional information of an image taking position, reading map data containing the position of the image object from a recording medium that stores map data and displaying an electronic map based on the map data on a display device, displaying an indicator that shows the image taking direction of the image object on the electronic map based on the positional information of the image object in the captured image and the positional information of the image taking position, and displaying a marker that shows the position of the image object on the electronic map and disposing on the electronic map a scaled-down image of the captured image that is associated with the indicator showing the image taking direction that was shown on the electronic map.

Abstract: A vehicle with a paper shredder including a driver's cab section, a loading platform section and a box-like container mounted on the loading platform defining a closed space. The container is partitioned, in the order in a direction from the front to the back of the vehicle, into a shredding operation chamber where an operator works, a shredder chamber into which papers are introduced for shredding, and a shred storage chamber for compacting and collecting the shreds. The shredder chamber includes a paper introduction port opened to the shredding operation chamber, a shredder arranged below the paper introduction port including two axis shredding screw blades below the paper introduction port, and a conveyance and compaction unit including a screw conveyor for conveying shredded strips to the shred storage chamber.
