Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for initiating a security action at an intermediate layer coupled between a library and an application. In use, a library of data is stored. Additionally, system calls intended for operating on the data are produced, utilizing an application. Furthermore, the system calls are intercepted and a security action is initiated on the data in response to the interception, utilizing an intermediate layer between the library and the application.

Abstract: A silicon wafer is held in an airtight chamber by a silicon wafer holder. The silicon wafer holder is cooled by a cooler. High purity nitric acid is stored in a storage container disposed in the airtight container. The storage container is heated by a heater, thereby producing nitric acid gas. The nitric acid gas is condensed on the surface of the silicon wafer so that a thin film is formed. Thus, the surface of the silicon wafer is rendered hydrophilic. Thereafter, high purity hydrofluoric acid is dropped on high purity nitric acid in the storage container by an acid dropper, thereby producing hydrofluoric acid gas. By introducing the hydrofluoric acid gas into the thin film formed on the surface of the silicon wafer, an etching is performed while maintaining the surface of the silicon wafer in a good condition.

Abstract: Disclosed is a removable adhesive sheet comprising a release liner, an adhesive layer and a surface stock as laminated, wherein the adhesive layer being formed by applying an adhesive to the release liner or to the surface stock, followed by drying,said adhesive comprising (i) an aqueous emulsion of a copolymer obtained by emulsion polymerization and (ii) a polyglycidyl compound having two or more epoxy groups within the molecule thereof,said copolymer comprising (a) 80-99% by weight of a (meth)acrylic acid C.sub.8 -C.sub.12 alkyl ester, (b) 0.3-10% by weight of (meth)acrylonitrile, (c) 0.1-5% by weight of an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated carboxylic acid and (d) 0-5% by weight of another copolymerizable monomer,said copolymer having a Mn of not less than 0.1.times.10.sup.4 but less than 5.0.times.10.sup.4, ratio of (Mw/Mn) of 40-800, an average particle size of 100-500 nm and a Tg of not higher than -50.degree. C., andsaid polyglycidyl compound being used in an amount such that the epoxy groups amount to 0.

Abstract: The present invention provides a heat sensitive recording material comprising a substrate and a recording layer thereon incorporating a colorless or light-colored basic dye and a color acceptor reactive with the dye to form a color when contacted therewith, the recording material being characterized in that, the basic dye comprises 1 at least one compound represented by the formula below [I] and 2 3-di-n-butylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran and/or 3-di-n-pentylamino-6-methyl-7-anilinofluoran, and the color acceptor comprises 4,4'-isopropylidenediphenol ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, a, b, c and d are as defined in the specification.

Abstract: Disclosed is a heat-sensitive recording material comprising:(a) a base sheet;(b) a heat-sensitive recording layer formed on the base sheet land comprising a colorless or pale-colored basic dye and a color developing material which develops a color on contact with the dye; and(c) a protective layer formed on the recording layer and comprising a binder and at least one metal salt selected from the group consisting of magnesium acetate, calcium acetate, aluminum acetate, magnesium formate, calcium formate and aluminum formate.

Abstract: Disclosed is a heat-sensitive recording material comprising a support; a heat-sensitive recording layer formed over the support and containing a color forming material, a color developing material which forms a color on contact with the color forming material and a pigment which is about 80 to about 400 ml/100 g in oil absorption according to JIS K 5101 and about 3 to about 15 .mu.m in average particle size; and an overcoat layer formed over the heat-sensitive recording layer and comprising a binder and a pigment, wherein the pigment is used in an amount of about 0.5 to about 3.0 parts by weight per part by weight of the binder and the coating amount of the overcoat layer is about 0.3 to about 2.0 g/m.sup.2 on dry basis.
