  • Patent number: 7402648
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide a production method wherein synthesis of a cyclic organic silicon compound similar to oxa-silacyclopentanes is completed in a single-step reaction. It is also to provide an organic silicon resin having an alcoholic hydroxyl group, which is capable of easily controlling its construction and is longitudinally stable. The means for solving is to produce the cyclic organic silicon compound represented by the formula (3) below by reacting an olefin represented by the formula (1) below and an alkoxysilane represented by the formula (2) below in the presence of a catalyst comprising a transition metal. (In the formula, Z is alkenyl group having carbon atoms from 2 to 5 where the terminal carbon atom forms a C?C bond, R is methyl group or hydrogen atom, and Me is methyl group.) (In the formula, R1 is alkyl group or alkoxyl group, having carbon atoms from 1 to 3, and R2 is alkyl group having carbon atoms from 1 to 3.

  • Publication number: 20080161589
Abstract: An aluminum chelate-based latent curing agent capable of curing a thermosetting epoxy resin under the condition of relatively low temperature in a short period of time is provided. Furthermore, a method for manufacturing the latent curing agent is provided, in which the curing conditions of the aluminum chelate-based latent curing agent can be controlled relatively easily. The aluminum chelate-based latent curing agent is prepared by reacting an aluminum chelate agent with a silsesquioxane type oxetane derivative in the presence of a water insoluble or poorly water-soluble cellulose ether, whereby latency properties are imparted thereto. This latent curing agent contains a coating layer composed of the water insoluble or poorly water-soluble cellulose ether. Preferably, the surface is treated with an isocyanate compound.

  • Patent number: 7365213
Abstract: [Problems] To provide a novel alkoxysilane having a diol protected, an organosilicon resin which has a diol and the composition of which can be easily regulated, and to processes for producing these. [Means for solving problems] The alkoxysilane is an organosilicon compound represented by the following formula (1). The organosilicon resin having a diol is one obtained by hydrolyzing-condensing this compound with a multifunctional alkoxysilane. (In the formula, each of R1, R2 and R3 is an alkyl group or an alkoxy group each having carbon number from 1 to 6. R4 is an alkylene group having carbon number from 2 to 6. Z is an alkylene group having carbon number from 1 to 3.) The alkoxysilane of the present invention can be produced by a hydrosilylation reaction of a compound represented by the following formula (4) and a silane compound R1R2R3SiH. (In the formula, Z is an alkylene group having carbon number from 1 to 3 and R5 has a carbon-carbon double bond at the terminal.

  • Publication number: 20080051594
Abstract: [Problems] It is to provide a process by which an organosilicon compound having a hexafluorocarbinol group can be easily produced on an industrial scale without via a complicated production step. [Means for solving problems] The following compound represented by the formula (1) and a trialkoxysilane are subjected to hydrosilylation to obtain a compound represented by the formula (2). (In the formula, R is an alkoxy group having carbon atoms from 1 to 3.) [Effects] Since the compound obtained in the present invention is a trifunctional alkoxysilane, use of a crosslinking reaction leads to a silicone resin and a silsesquioxane. The hexafluorocarbinol group functions as an excellent alkaline water-soluble group.
