    Abstract: An image forming apparatus in which a copy sheet size input mode is provided whereby an operator inputs copy sheet size data corresponding to copy sheets accommodated in a plurality of copy sheet cassettes. The size data is memorized in the RAM as a data of corresponding copy sheet cassette. Thereby, sensors adjacent to the copy sheet cassettes for sensing the size of the copy sheet accommodated in the cassettes can be omitted.
