  • Patent number: 7833951
Abstract: The invention provides a water-soluble metal working lubricant which is suitably employed particularly in press-working of aluminum material and which is excellent in both working properties and degreasing properties. The water-soluble metal working lubricant includes 85 mass % or less of water (A); 5 to 75 mass % of a metal salt of an organic carboxylic acid (B) wherein carboxylic acid residue has 8 or more carbon atoms in total and the acid/alkali ratio by mole is 1:0.5 to 1.1; 1 to 50 mass % of at least one metal salt (C) selected from among an organic phosphate ester metal salt, an organic phosphite ester metal salt, an organic phosphonate metal salt, and an organic borate ester metal salt, each having an alkyl group having 8 or more carbon atoms in total; and 10 to 80 mass % of a non-ionic surfactant (D).

  • Patent number: 7441690
Abstract: A joined structure of different metals is usable even in a severely corrosive environments such locations susceptible to salt damage. In a joined structure of different metals, members of different metals are joined to each other in such a manner that a flange is allowed to extend in a direction from the circumferential side of one of the members along the circumference of the other member.

Date of Patent: October 28, 2008
Assignee: Honda Giken Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha
    Inventors: Katsuhiko Shiotsuki, Masashi Fujita
  • Patent number: 7338099
Abstract: A bumper beam structure has a metal and molded bumper beam main body extending in a width direction of a vehicle, wherein a rear face of the main body is joined to side frames of the vehicle; and a center gusset joined to a center portion of the bumper beam main body in the length direction of the main body so as to produce a closed section at a front face of the bumper beam main body. The center gusset has a pair of support walls which are respectively adhered and fastened to upper and lower walls of the bumper beam main body in a manner such that the support walls are respectively laid over the upper and the lower walls. Preferably, in each support wall, ends in a length direction of the support wall are inclined with respect to a plane which is perpendicular to the length direction.
