  • Patent number: 11556110
Abstract: The step for performing machine learning includes acquiring shape data; acquiring geometric information for each of a plurality of machining faces; acquiring a tool path pattern selected for the machining faces from among a plurality of tool path patterns; and performing machine learning by using the geometric data for known workpieces and the tool path patterns wherein the input is the geometric information for the machining faces and the output is the tool path pattern for the machining faces. The step for generating a new tool path includes: acquiring shape data for the workpiece; acquiring geometric information for each of the plurality of machining faces of the workpiece to be machined; and generating a tool path pattern for each of the plurality of machining faces on the workpiece on the basis of the results of the machine learning using the geometric information of the workpiece to be machined.

  • Publication number: 20220128964
Abstract: This tool selection method is provided with: a step for respectively calculating, with respect to a plurality of known workpieces, feature amounts based on the shapes of a plurality of machining surfaces wherein, to each of the plurality of known workpieces, one main tool which is preselected from a tool list that includes a plurality of tools is allocated as being suitable for machining the plurality of machining surfaces; a step for executing, with respect to the plurality of known workpieces, machine learning by taking the feature amounts as inputs and the main tools as outputs; a step for calculating a feature amount for a target workpiece; and a step for selecting, with respect to the target workpiece, a main tool from the tool list on the basis of a machine learning result obtained by using the feature amount of the target workpiece as an input.

  • Publication number: 20210397159
Abstract: To provide processing information to a CAM that generates an NC program of a processing machine for processing an object to be processed with a tool, a processing support system comprises, in a cloud storage device installed on a processing tool manufacturer side, a user knowledge database of a storage unit that stores processing information so as to be unshareble with other users and a sharing knowledge database of the storage unit that stores processing information so as to be sharable with other user, wherein a user side transmits and receives, by a transmitting/receiving unit, extended STEP-NC data of processing information via a network.
