  • Patent number: 6657641
Abstract: A scenario display method, apparatus and computer program for displaying in a current scene, included as one of a plurality of sequential scenes of a scenario, information indicating relations between the current scene and scenes occurring before and after the current scene. Relation information is stored indicating relations between actors, resources and actions performed by the actors on the resources with respect to the scenes. Information of a current scene including actors, resources and actions performed by the actors on the resources is displayed. A retrieval operation is performed to retrieve information indicating relations between the resource of the current scene and actions performed on the resources of the current scene by actors in scenes occurring before and after the current scene. The retrieved information is displayed in the current scene.

  • Patent number: 6571247
Abstract: In an object-oriented technology analysis and design supporting method when analysis and design is being performed according to object-oriented technology on a system for business, a person knowledgeable of the business can generate object design information with minimal variation in quality even if the person is not knowledgeable of object-oriented technology. In the method, an object design information generator 0104 receives: management resource construction information in which resources that should be managed in business are entered hierarchically as elements, business activity construction information in which business activity to be performed in business are entered hierarchically as elements, and a business action scenario, in which is entered, for each element position at the lowermost level in the business activity construction information, the arrangement of operations needed for carrying out the corresponding business activity.

  • Publication number: 20010002834
Abstract: On a computer, components forming a development subject are arranged on a scenario editor by using basic component parts, and the component data are set. And a procedure call sequence is defined by specifying procedures of defined components in order of call. The call sequence data is generated in the computer as scenario data. Then, the defined group of scenarios are selected and reflected on the model editor. A whole requirement is created. At that time, a procedure name to be called subsequently on the connection line between components is acquired from the defined procedure sequence data, and a program for effecting animation is generated. Finally, by executing the generated animation program, the procedure call sequence is displayed in an animation form and the requirement is created.

  • Patent number: 6072949
Abstract: In a method of supporting production of an application program layout, when combining parts with each other, it is possible to sequentially execute the parts for evaluation thereof. There are disposed a program parts control table, a program layout control table, and component data including a program part entry for storing therein a part record of the program parts control table, and a message delivery program for delivering an external message call to each execution object corresponding to the program part entry. According to an indication input including specification of a program part, a part record is set to the program part entry of the component data, and the application program is executed by exchanging a message between the component data items. The message delivered to each component data is processed by the message delivery program.

  • Patent number: 5655067
Abstract: In an animation generating method wherein a component of an apparatus to be designed is defined by an instance of an object-oriented program and a figure is allocated to said instance on a computer, and further an animation method for varying a representation of said figure in connection with the operation of the instance is interactively generated, a designation is made of either a slot of said instance, or a method argument of a method effected to said instance, and further a designation is made of a figure attribute of a figure to be changed in an animation representation. In response to this, an animation method for changing the figure attribute is automatically generated with refererence to the slot of the instance, or the method argument of the method effected to the instance.

  • Patent number: 5517604
Abstract: A process for architecting a figure input/output interface of an instance is provided in an object-oriented design supporting system or the like. An applicable graphic editor is provided with a figure editor, which expands a function for defining a method to draw a user figure and also a function for defining a slot of a figure attribute when the user figure is designated; and furthermore expands a function to produce an instance when the user figure is drawn and also a function for coupling the instances when the figures are connected with each other. Then, input/output figures of a design component are defined and inputted with employment of this applicable graphic editor. In the output, a slot of the displayed instance is updated and then a display is deformed. As a result, the formation of the figure input/output for the instance such as the design component is available by only operating the screen of the applicable graphic editor.

  • Patent number: 5335339
Abstract: An equipment for displaying a specification of behavior of a real time system includes a program memory for storing a plurality of program objects for simulating operations of objects indicative of an arrangement of the real time system and a plurality of graphical symbol objects for expressing operational states of the objects and relationships between the objects in the form of a graphical symbol representation on a display screen. In the equipment, the plurality of program objects are linked with the plurality of symbol objects through an inter-program communication control routine. Each of the program objects, when receiving a message from the communication control routine, is executed for simulation operation according to the received message to thereby generate a new message to be sent to the associated program routine and a new message indicative of an object state change to be sent to one of the symbol objects corresponding to the associated object.
