  • Patent number: 6729787
Abstract: An applicator has a tubular body containing a liquid to be dispensed. A non-return device is movably disposed in the tubular body rearwardly of and in contact with the liquid for preventing backflow of the liquid. A manually-displaceable piston member is displaceable in the tubular body in a forward direction for pressurizing air admitted into a chamber located in front of the piston member, and a normally closed valve communicates with the chamber and is openable by the force of the pressurized air to apply the pressurized air to the non-return device to urge the non-return device forwardly to thereby pressurize the liquid. A resilient member normally urges the piston member rearwardly to a rear stop position. An air passage communicates the chamber with the exterior of the applicator when the piston member is in the rear stop position, and the air passage is blocked by the piston member during displacement of the piston member in the forward direction.

  • Patent number: 5934457
Abstract: A container comprises a first tubular body, a second tubular body disposed in the first tubular body, and a tubular cap slidably engaged with the first tubular body. The second tubular body has a chamber for containing a liquid and a neck portion protruding from the first tubular body. The neck portion has a surface at an end thereof puncturable to provide a discharge opening. The tubular cap has a first end, a second end, and a needle pin disposed inside of the tubular cap and mounted on an inner wall of the tubular cap at the first end thereof. The tubular cap is slidable on the first tubular body between a first position in which the needle pin is spaced from the surface of the neck portion of the second tubular body, and a second position in which the needle pin punctures the surface of the neck portion to provide the discharge opening. A first air-tight seal maintains the interior of the tubular cap in a hermetically sealed state when the tubular cap is in the first position.

  • Patent number: 5475933
Abstract: The invention described herein is a weighing and foot drying machine comprising a weighing machine for measuring one's weight; and a pair of foot dryers for drying user's feet standing on the weighing and foot drying machine; wherein the weighing machine is integrally assembled with the foot dryers in order to have a simplified structure and to be available with lower cost for providing usage of increased ease and popularity. In response to a user stepping onto a upper casing 1 of the weighing and foot drying machine, a supporting member 12 pushes a bar member correspondingly to the weight of the user, thereby a supporting member 32moves downward against the biasing force of a spring 34 and rotates a turning member 36, whereby a movable pole 37 moves linearly which causes a limit switch 40 to turn on and a pinion 42 to rotate for driving a scale plate 44.
