  • Patent number: 8016595
Abstract: In an interactive driving simulation apparatus for a two-wheeled vehicle, a real-time test drive performance by a student operator around a simulated driving route sequence is recorded. The recorded performance is later replayed for the benefit of the student, to provide real-world simulation, education, and performance evaluation. During the simulated driving, pre-recorded performance evaluation comments are selected and stored, corresponding to the student's specific performance at a traffic driving situation on the driving route sequence. Then, upon displaying of a replay screen image of the simulated driving on a display unit, when a particular traffic driving situation is arrived at, a simulated operating environment of the traffic driving situation and the selected performance evaluation comments are automatically superimposed and displayed together as a replay screen 154.

  • Publication number: 20100211451
Abstract: A system is provided to objectively represent in numerical form a reduction in the CO2 emission by a consumer in an objective manner, whereby a CO2 emission transaction can be performed with a company. Eco bag identification information read by a POS register terminal is received, consumer identification information correlated with the received eco bag identification information is searched and specified, points having a value that corresponds to a CO2 emission quantity commensurate with a number of plastic shopping bags not used due to use of an eco bag are generated, a free gift selection request from the consumer is received, an instruction is issued to a company to provide the free gift to the consumer, the points used for free gift exchange are converted to a CO2 emission quantity, and the CO2 emission quantity is correlated with and granted to the company that provided the free gift.

  • Patent number: 6748319
Abstract: A remaining distance meter for easily assuring detection of the remaining distance up to the destination from the current position and for recognizes intuitively and visually whether the vehicle is running closer toward the destination or becoming far from the destination. A remaining distance meter is displayed on the display area of the navigation apparatus to realize a graphic display which expands and compresses depending on the distance up to the destination from the current position. In the remaining distance meter, the reference distance mark is previously given and the distance up to the destination from the current position is displayed at the starting time by defining the reference distance mark as the starting point. When the distance up to the destination from the current position is increased or decreased after the running of vehicle, the display of the remaining distance meter expands or compresses depending on an increase or a decrease of the remaining distance.

  • Patent number: 5209662
Abstract: A riding simulation system of motorcycle provides at least a model motorcycle on which a person can ride and which can be operated by a person. In response to the operation and movement of the person who rides on the model motorcycle, the model motorcycle is moved by a movable mechanism in a desirable direction such as a yawing direction, a rolling direction and a pitching direction. Preferably, the moving image such as the scenery which is seen from the running motorcycle is displayed in front of the person who rides on the model motorcycle. Such moving image is varied in response to the driving condition of the model motorcycle.
