The information processing device specifies a commodity classification of a commodity and an attribute value of an attribute of a commodity belonging to the commodity classification, based on an article described on a web page, and decides an evaluation made by a page supervisor for the attribute value based on the article. Then, the information processing device selects commodities that belong to the specified commodity classification and satisfy a selection condition according to the decided evaluation, as display target candidates. From among the selected commodities, a commodity of which an advertisement is to be displayed in an advertisement display area of the web page is determined.
