  • Publication number: 20240019945
Abstract: A communication system includes a server apparatus, and a terminal apparatus connected to the server apparatus and capable of communicating with the server apparatus. The terminal apparatus is configured to transmit, to the server apparatus, response information, which is responsive to provided information and which is generated according to a position indication input performed by a user of the terminal apparatus. The terminal apparatus includes a position detection sensor that detects the position indication input, a determination unit that distinguishingly determines the position indication input in a response information area corresponding to an input field for the response information and the position indication input in an area outside the response information area, in a position detection area of the position detection sensor, and a transmission control unit that transmits, to the server apparatus, the position indication input in the response information area.

  • Publication number: 20230360870
Abstract: An input device is provided, which includes an operation shaft and a case configured to house the operation shaft such that a tilting operation to tilt an axial direction of the operation shaft to a desired direction can be performed. A coil constituting a resonant circuit for performing signal interaction through electromagnetic induction coupling with a position detection sensor is housed in the operation shaft, such that a direction of magnetic flux penetrating the coil is in the axial direction of the operation shaft. The operation shaft can be tilted to a desired direction within the case, with a predetermined position between a first end side and a second end side of the operation shaft in the axial direction of the operation shaft serving as a rotation center, so that a direction of tilt of the operation shaft and a magnitude of an angle of the tilt are detected.

  • Patent number: 5763839
Abstract: The present invention provides a method and a device for detecting position without producing discrepancy caused by residual induction voltage of a resonant circuit, wherein it includes steps for selecting and scanning one of a multiple loop coil positioned parallel to each other towards a detecting direction to receive an electromagnetic wave (S1), and calculating coordinate values of the indicated position provided by a position indicator based upon at least two detected induction voltages (S3), a direction for selecting and scanning of the loop coils is alternatively changed (S5, 6), and the coordinate values are averaged to eliminate the residual induction voltage effect (S8).

  • Patent number: 5691512
Abstract: A position transducer, and a noise elimination method for eliminating a noise component included in a received signal of the position transducer irrespective of the frequency band of the noise component. A position transducer calculates coordinates of a position indicator by effecting predetermined signal processing on the basis of a received signal developed in one of a plurality of loop coils, arranged side by side, as a result of electromagnetic interaction between the loop coil and the position indicator. The position transducer is further provided with a subtraction means which extracts an amplitude level corresponding to the signal developed in the loop coil only resulting from the electromagnetic interaction, for each loop coil, by subtracting a noise level obtained from a signal received when a transmission means interrupts transmission, from a signal received when the transmission means carries out transmission.
