  • Patent number: 8199484
Abstract: An electronic device includes: a first housing that includes an inlet and an outlet on one end; a second housing; and a linkage section that links the second housing to the first housing such that the second housing can be opened and closed. The device is configured such that the second housing divides at least a part of a space between the inlet and the outlet while the second housing is in the open position relative to the first housing. While the second housing is opened relative to the first housing, the second housing divides the space between the inlet and the outlet, thereby preventing the exhausted warm air from being drawn into the electronic device.

  • Patent number: 7907230
Abstract: In a first area, a projection section provided in a second rib is inserted into a hollow section provided in a first rib, and the first rib and the second rib are overlapped with each other such that the second rib is located inside the first rib. In a second area, the first rib and the second rib are overlapped with each other such that the first rib is located inside the second rib. Therefore, a front rib and a back rib prevent each other from moving in an overlapping direction. Accordingly, it is possible to fix the front rib and the back rib without using a rib which is another component, thereby making it possible to reduce the size and weight of an apparatus while increasing the size of a display screen.

  • Publication number: 20090169982
Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a battery pack incorporating plural cells and a main section with an accommodating section where the battery pack is removably accommodated. The battery pack includes a groove section depressed in an external surface of battery pack toward space between the cells and extending in a predetermined direction. The accommodating section includes a projection section to be engaged in the groove section. The groove section is formed in a position on the external surface of the battery pack corresponding to a clearance between the plural cells, and the projection section of the main section is engaged in the groove section when the battery pack is attached. Therefore, without increasing the thickness of the entire electronic apparatus, there is realized a structure that determines the position of the battery pack with respect to the main section so that the battery pack can be prevented from being incorrectly attached.
