  • Publication number: 20080129317
Abstract: An input device is disclosed that includes a shield layer for reducing the influence of radiation noise and has a low manufacturing cost and a stable operation and a method of manufacturing the input device. A method of manufacturing a touch sensor includes: forming conductive films and on front and rear surfaces of a transparent base substrate, respectively; radiating a laser beam onto the conductive films to form partitioning grooves, thereby forming a plurality of electrodes on both the conductive films at the same time; sequentially forming an insulating layer, wiring patterns, and a protective layer on one of the conductive films; forming a conductive pattern on the other of the conductive films to electrically connect the electrodes such that the conductive pattern and the electrodes serve as the ground; and forming a sensitivity adjusting layer with a predetermined thickness on the conductive pattern and the electrodes.

  • Publication number: 20080053714
Abstract: An input device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The input device includes a conductive film formed on a substrate; electrode sections obtained by cutting and partitioning the conductive film in a predetermined shape so as to correspond to the sensor section; a ground pattern disposed at a position located, in the film thickness direction, opposite a remaining portion of the conductive film excluding the electrode sections; and at least one dividing groove formed on a portion of the remaining conductive film disposed between the ground pattern and the electrode sections, for division of the remaining conductive film.

  • Publication number: 20080035393
Abstract: A coordinate input apparatus is provided that consumes little power and is capable of properly inputting coordinates without being influenced by a surrounding environment change. The coordinate input apparatus 21 has pressure sensors 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, and 3e that are composed of registers and detect the pressure applied at the time of operation as voltage changes. A switching element 23, 31 that on/off controls a voltage to be applied to the pressure sensors 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, and 3e is provided on the power source side of the pressure sensors 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d, and 3e.

  • Patent number: 6525277
Abstract: There is provided a multiple operation type input device that can perform self-returning rotating operation and two-stage push operation, and can be applied to a digital camera with a zoom function. A multiple operation type input device is provided with a rotary electrical part driven rotatably via a operation body, and a push switch arranged in an opening at the center portion of the operation body and driven by push via a key top, wherein the push switch has a first push switch element and a second push switch element having different actuation forces and stacked along the push operation direction of the key top. This provides the multiple operation type input device of compact size, which can perform rotating operation and two-stage push operation. Further, fixed contacts for engaging and disengaging click springs of the first and second push switch elements and a sliding pattern to be contacted slidably with a slider of the rotary electrical part are formed on a common flexible substrate.

  • Patent number: 6492602
Abstract: In a two-position pushbutton switch, a cushioning member is placed on at least one of first and second click springs, and the click spring is pressed via the cushioning member, thereby making a first press stroke long. A guide member is provided to guide the motion of a driving member. The driving member is slid along the guide member in the pressing direction of a key top.
