Abstract: Luggage for transporting articles is collapsible into a compact size by simple handling. The luggage includes a ceiling board, a bottom board, two flexible side faces which interconnect the ceiling and the bottom boards, and flexible front and rear faces enclosing front and rear portions of the luggage. Reinforcing inserts are attached to insert retaining hinges inside the luggage. The reinforcing inserts are hingedly movable between a first position wherein the reinforcing inserts are positioned upright along the side faces and the luggage is in an operative position, and a second position wherein the reinforcing inserts are positioned flat along the bottom board and the luggage can be collapsed.

Abstract: The invention relates more particularly to a double-slider fastening lock including a catch plate having a long hole capable of inserting a head of a corresponding slider, a cover body having several windows on the side portion and having a hole corresponding to the long hole the upper portion, the cover body covering an upper surface of the catch plate and being fixed on the catch plate, a hook-shaped hook plate having a projection on its back and being inserted slidably in the direction crossing at right angles with the axis along the hole of the cover body, and a sliding plate having a projection capable of engaging with the projection of the hook plate on the front and being formed to be inserted slidably in the axial direction of the cover body.

Abstract: A beading for baggage includes an elongate flexible tubular portion with legs or flanges projecting therefrom. A band spring is rotatably positioned in the tubular portion and dimensioned so that the spring is relatively flexible in one direction and relatively inflexible in another direction. The spring urges the tubular portion into a sharply defined shape. The band spring can rotate when the tubular portion is deformed in the inflexible direction of the band spring and can rotate back to restore the tubular portion to its sharply defined shape.
