    Abstract: This connector-mounting configuration comprises: a latching claw that is provided at a connector and latches to a substrate, whereby the substrate is equipped with the connector; a protruding portion that is provided so as to protrude from the latching claw and latches to the substrate, whereby the latching claw latches to the substrate; and a flexing portion that is formed from a first plate member that is a plate-like component and that is disposed at a position closer to the base end side of the latching claw than the protruding portion thereof. The rib is inserted into the attachment hole, and when external force in a direction of moving away from the substrate acts on one end side of the connector main body, whose end portions in the width direction interfere with the interior peripheral portion of the attachment hole, so as to generate resistance force that resists the external force.

A regulating groove is provided along the direction of installation on the other one of the fixing member and the case, and when the fixing member is installed onto the case, the regulating portion is guided along the regulating groove and tilting of the fixing member relative to the direction of installation is controlled.

    Abstract: An upper tier terminal is provided with a fitting portion and a board attachment portion. When the upper tier terminal is being fabricated, a first wire member which is a component of the fitting portion and a second wire member which is a component of the board attachment portion, whole peripheral surfaces of which have been subjected to a plating treatment beforehand, are employed. End portions of the first wire member and the second wire member are mutually superposed, and the first wire member and the second wire member are joined. Thus, the fitting portion is formed and the board attachment portion is formed. Hence, a surface of the upper tier terminal is structured by a plating layer at the peripheral surface of the first wire member and a plating layer at the peripheral surface of the second wire member. Consequently, a post-plating treatment can be rendered unnecessary.

    Abstract: A fixing member is used for fixing a case to a printed circuit board. The fixing member is mounted at a mount-receiving portion, which is formed at the case, by being inserted along a side wall of the mount-receiving portion. At the fixing member, a plate spring portion is formed at a predetermined position. The plate spring portion projects to a side of abutting against the side wall. In the state in which the fixing member is mounted at the mount-receiving portion, the plate spring portion is pressed by the side wall and flexes. Consequently, the fixing member is subject to a pressure force in a direction away from the side wall. In addition, the fixing member is supported from a rear face side by support portions which structure the mount-receiving portion. Thus, the fixing member is gripped in a direction intersecting the side wall.
