  • Patent number: 4794519
Abstract: A file editing method and a system therefor is used in a file editing system for sequentially connecting the files, which are stored in memory devices of a plurality of distributed devices connected to a common signal transmission line, to an edition data flowing on the common signal transmission line. Each of the devices sends a structuring message having the combination and order of the files to be connected to the common signal transmission line; judges whether or not its own file is contained in files to be edited on the basis of the structuring message and its own connection information when it receives the structuring message; sends a response message having the information of the file to the common signal transmission line if its own file is contained; and structures a connection information required for the file edition in itself on the basis of the structuring message in case it is confirmed through the message that all the files to be edited exist in the system.

  • Patent number: 4789986
Abstract: In a method for checking consistency of distributed data in which data distributedly stored in a plurality of devices connected to a common data transmission line are sequentially combined, each device sends out to the data transmission line output data accompanied with information indicating a position of a processed result in the output data, and the device which receives redundant data compares collected redundant data to select a correct data by comparing only the portion of the data which was lastly added in accordance with the information accompanying the data.

  • Patent number: 4785397
Abstract: A system for loading a program in a distributed processing system including a plurality of information processing units interconnected by a transmission system. An information processing unit prepares a program and sends the program to the transmission system. Another information processing unit receives the program from the transmission system and stores the program in a memory in accordance with a content code of the program. A program based on program may be retrieved from the memory structural information, and sent to the transmission system. Each information processing unit includes a device for sending program structural information to the transmission system, selecting a corresponding program from the transmission system and loading the selected program in the unit.

  • Patent number: 4763254
Abstract: An information processing system includes a loop-shaped signal transmission line for transmitting data to be stored, a plurality of transmission control processors disposed around the transmission line, and information processing units for inputting and outputting data to and from the signal transmission line through the corresponding transmission control processors. Each of the transmission control processors is adapted to variably control the signal amplitude of data flowing around the signal transmission line in accordance with the utilization of the data in the corresponding information processing unit.

  • Patent number: 4713768
Abstract: A method of localizing a moving body, by which the magnitude of parameters, which can give rise to bias errors, is estimated inversely from the difference between two locations of the moving body estimated by two different localization methods. Various quantities (position of sensors, propagation velocity of radiation, etc.), on the basis of which localization operations are carried out, can be corrected by using the magnitude thus estimated. The emission time of the radiation from the moving body can be estimated by the hyperbolic surface localization method and the spherical surface localization method can utilize the emission time thus estimated to localize the moving body. Further, localization errors caused by both localization methods can be estimated, so that it is possible to determine which localization method should be used to localize the moving body.

  • Patent number: 4680718
Abstract: There is an attitude control method and system for a satellite. This system comprises a star catalogue of the universe, a star sensor and means for calculating features on the surface of the star sensor from a signal detected by the star sensor. The calculated features are compared with a table of which the star catalogue was reconstituted so as to easily search the features, thereby determining the attitude of the satellite.

  • Patent number: 4658361
Abstract: An apparatus for determining attitude of a satellite by using a star sensor includes a ground terminal equipped with a data processing unit and star catalogue, a star sensor, an estimating the unit for estimating attitude of the satellite and a decision unit for deciding the attitude determination mode I or II in dependence on attitude stability of the satellite. In the mode I, angles representative of the satellite attitude are estimated by the estimating unit on the basis of a star sub-catalogue prepared by utilizing a priori information. In the mode II, the attitude angles are estimated by the data processing unit through data transaction with the ground terminal without resorting to the use of the priori information.
