Abstract: A reel for a chain or the like comprises a core portion adapted to have a chain wound around it and a pair of flange portions arranged at opposite ends of the core portion for retaining the chain on the core portion. The core and flange portions are constituted by a plurality of bent rods bonded together. Each of the bent rods comprises a central portion forming part of the core of the reel and a pair of side portions at its opposite ends forming parts of the chain-retaining flanges of the reel. The reel is inexpensive to manufacture, and can be dipped in rust-preventive fluid along with the chain, thereby eliminating the necessity of winding a chain onto a special reel for rust treatment and then rewinding the chain onto another reel for storage or shipment.

Abstract: A roller chain having plural bearing rollers located around the outer-periphery of a bushing, rollers surrounding the plural bearing rollers and thrust rings located at the gaps between rollers and inner link plate. The running resistance, abrasion and durability against the lateral force of the chain are improved.

Abstract: A roller chain having a thrust ring between a roller and a link plate for sustaining the transverse load, in which a thrust ring is made of bearing materials and has a sealing part in order to be put into the hole part formed on the end face of the roller to reserve the lubricant.The sealing part prevent the lubricant from effluxing and prevent the dust from intruding into the inside of the roller.

Abstract: An acceleration accumulation chain conveyor, having a link/pin chain for driving rollers along rails, the conveyor comprising: support rollers rotatably loosely fitted over the pins, each support roller having a larger diameter portion with a rim for engaging conveyed articles and side faces, and annular bosses of smaller diameter projecting axially from the side faces, the bosses having inner peripheral surfaces for frictionally engaging the pins and outer peripheral surfaces; and, chain rollers rotatably loosely fitted on the bosses, the chain rollers having inner peripheral surfaces for frictionally engaging the outer peripheral surfaces of the bosses, outer peripheral surfaces for engaging the rails and side faces for frictionally engaging the side faces of the support rollers, one of the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the chain rollers being tapered to direct a component of force urging the chain rollers inwardly to enable frictional engagement between the respective side faces and the outer peri
