  • Patent number: 6770312
Abstract: The frozen food product according to the present invention contains as a major ingredient boiled rice grains or boiled pasta pieces; a water migration-preventing layer formed on the surface of each rice grain or boiled pasta; and a sauce layer formed on the surface of the water migration-preventing layer, and the product is frozen in such a state. In the frozen food product described above, rice grains or pasta pieces contained as the major ingredient are mixed homogeneously with a sauce, and if the frozen food is packaged portionwise, the resulting packaged products can give stable quality where the major ingredient and the sauce are blended at a constant rate. This frozen food product can be manufactured by carrying out a step of admixing a primary sauce to the major ingredient so as to form a water migration-preventing layer; a step of freezing the thus treated major ingredient; a step of admixing a secondary sauce to the resulting major ingredient; and a step of freezing the resulting major ingredient.

  • Patent number: 4866044
Abstract: 3-(n-Octadecylcarbamoyloxy)-2-methoxypropyl 2-thiazolioethyl phosphate solubilized with use of a salt of salicyclic acid or/and a salt of a bile acid can be administered by stable injection without causing precipitation. A composition containing a reducing sulfur compound or a sequestering agent besides the above mentioned ingredients can be stored for a long term even at room temperature as well as a cold place.

  • Patent number: 4536337
Abstract: A process for preparing a quinone, which comprises reacting a polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbon and a ceric salt in an aqueous acid solution in the presence of an organic solvent selected from the group consisting of chlorobenzene and an alkylbenzene represented by the general formula: ##STR1## where each of R.sub.1, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 is an alkyl group and the total carbon number of the alkyl groups is from 3 to 6.

  • Patent number: 4277257
Abstract: A scale deposition from an aqueous slurry of naphthoquinone and phthalic acid can be prevented by adding fine crystals of phthalic acid to the aqueous slurry of naphthoquinone and phthalic acid collected, which slurry is obtained by contacting a gas resulting from a catalytic gas phase oxidation of naphthalene with water or a mother liquor recycled. The fine crystals of phthalic acid have diameters of less than 100.mu., preferably 10 to 40.mu., and can be in an aqueous slurry of phthalic acid pulverized by a pulverizer.

  • Patent number: 3955484
Abstract: A fixed duct is formed by vertically setting a partition plate virtually in the middle of a duct with a U-shaped cross section composed of two side plates and a bottom plate in such a manner that the lower end of said partition plate is spaced from said bottom plate and by placing a canopy over the space between the upper end of one of said side plates and the upper end of said partition plate. An exhaust pipe is installed through said canopy. A sealing liquid is placed in said fixed duct in such a manner that the level of said liquid is always above the lower end of said partition plate. An S-shaped movable pipe extends from outside the upper end of the other of said side plates into said sealing liquid, further under the lower end of said partition plate, to above the level of part of said sealing liquid covered with said canopy. Said movable pipe freely moves along said fixed duct. Dust is collected at an end of said movable pipe and is sent to a dust collector through said exhaust pipe.
