  • Patent number: 7973969
Abstract: The invention provides a printing apparatus that includes: a printing section; a display unit; a touch-sensitive panel that is overlaid on the display unit; a display controlling section; a three-primary-color correcting section that sets a corrected set of values that is recognized by the user as the apparent red, green, and blue base colors on the basis of a comparison made between the position of each of the red, green, and blue display cells that make up the red, green, and blue cell block and a touch position detected by the touch-sensitive panel, respectively; and a print controlling section that controls the printing section to print true red, green, and blue base colors as a color sample that is used when the three-primary-color correcting section performs correction.

  • Publication number: 20110058209
Abstract: A transmission apparatus includes a unit which writes command data indicating a content of a processing to be executed by an electronic device into a first data code, a unit which writes an error detection code of the first data code into a bit string of one bit through (N?1) bits in a second data code having a bit number N which is the same as the first data code, a unit which writes an extension code relating to an operation of the electronic device into another bit string formed of the remaining bits, and a unit which transmits a remote control signal in which the first data code and the second data code are combined to the electronic device.

  • Publication number: 20090164670
Abstract: A printer includes a USB host controller and a USB root hub with a plurality of USB ports, in which the USB host controller outputs a bus reset signal to the USB device connected to a specific port when a predetermined standby time passes after a pull-up of a D+/D? signal line of a USB device connected to at least one specific port of the plurality of USB ports is detected.

  • Publication number: 20080239356
Abstract: The invention provides a printing apparatus that includes: a printing section that performs printing on a print target medium; a display unit that displays various kinds of information; a touch-sensitive panel that is overlaid on a surface of the display unit and detects a position touched by a user; a display controlling section that controls the display unit so as to display a red cell block, a green cell block, and a blue cell block, the red cell block being made up of an array of a plurality of red display cells in which the value of a red color component only changes stepwise with a certain set of values of red, green, and blue shown on the display unit being taken as a base set of values, the base set of values being preset so as to be recognized by the user as an apparent red base color when observed not directly but indirectly through the touch-sensitive panel, the green cell block being made up of an array of a plurality of green display cells in which the value of a green color component only change

  • Patent number: 7228969
Abstract: It is an air-filled cushioning material which sufficiently protects an article to be protected with less possibility of rupture of sheets against an external force to a compartment thereof or wild bounding in falling. The air-filled cushioning material 1 formed of non-breathable soft resin sheets has a compartment area 2 that produces cushioning effect by filling it with air. The compartment area 2 is separated into a first compartment 21 and an adjacent second compartment 22, both compartments 21, 22 communicating with each other via an air-flow passage 7. The air-flow passage 7 allows an air-flow to pass from either of the compartments 21, 22 to the other while applying resistance. The air moves from either of the compartments 21, 22 which accepts an external force P to the other through the air-flow passage 7.
