  • Publication number: 20020012600
Abstract: The method for producing a rare-earth sintered magnet of the present invention includes the steps of: compacting alloy powder for the rare-earth sintered magnet to form a green compact; loading the green compact into a case having a structure restricting a path through which gas flows between the outside and inside of the case, and placing a gas absorbent at least near the path; and sintering the green compact by heating the case including the green compact inside in a decompressed atmosphere.

  • Publication number: 20020005808
Abstract: An antenna apparatus and a portable communication apparatus are disclosed to reduce the quantity of electromagnetic waves absorbed by a human body in a portable communication apparatus even in case of any wireless communication frequency corresponding to at least two or more wireless communication systems different in wireless communication frequency, respectively. A dielectric 13 having the frequency dispersibility that varies relative dielectric constant with wireless communication frequencies can equate an electrical length L2 from one end to the other end of a conductive flat plate 11 at two or more types of wireless communication frequencies. This makes it possible to make an impedance at an open end of a single conductive flat plate 11 almost equivalent for any wireless communication frequencies to suppress the surface current, and thus the quantity of electromagnetic waves absorbed by a human body to be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20010038353
Abstract: There is provided an electromagnetic wave absorber in which uniformity, reproducibility and productivity are raised by forming a metal soft magnetic material flat plate, the surface of which is smoothed, of a regular shape disk or elliptical shape easily, at low cost, stably and certainly. In the electromagnetic wave absorber composed of a mixture of a magnetic material particle 21 and an organic binding material, the magnetic material particle 21 is constituted by a nucleus 22 made of organic material and a magnetic material film 23 formed on its surface.

  • Publication number: 20010020054
Abstract: A radio wave absorbent capable of absorbing radiowaves in the space saving and efficient manner and capable of coping with up to high frequency bands, as well as a manufacturing method thereof are provided. In a radio wave absorbent in which magnetic particles comprising a soft magnetic metal material are mixed with a matrix of a polymeric material or ceramics, the magnetic particles are formed into elliptic plate particles.

  • Patent number: 6247660
Abstract: A case for hydrogen-pulverizing a rare earth metal-based magnetic material is disclosed. The case includes a case body which is formed of a material having a heat conductivity of 1 W/cm·deg or more. At least one heat-transferring/releasing member is mounted in the case body and formed of a material having a heat conductivity of 1 W/cm·deg or more. The magnetic material is accommodated in the case and subjected to a hydrogen pulverization with hydrogen occluded in the magnetic material.
